Luigi's Mansion Arcade (Luigi's Mansion: Team Catch in Europe and Japan) is a arcade game created by Capcom and published by Nintendo. The game is based on Luigi's Mansion, even including the same areas and the same plot.

Luigi, having won a mansion in a contest he didn't even enter, enters the Boo Woods and locates it. He enters the mansion and is soon attacked by ghosts, but Professor E. Gadd appears and fights off the ghosts with a vacuum. He tells Luigi that the mansion appeared out of thin air and is an illusion, and that Mario was captured by the ghosts living within the mansion. He trains Luigi to use his vacuum invention, the Poltergust 3000, to vacuum up ghosts, and that he had several ghosts captured and turned into portraits, but they were released by King Boo. Now Luigi has to save Mario by catching all the ghosts to defeat King Boo at end.


The game is in first-person, where one to four players need suck up ghosts, every ghost from Luigi's Mansion is here and the objective is get all the ghosts of the areas. At the end, you fight against the area boss. The game is like Luigi's Mansion, but, more linear. The four players play as different collored Luigis.


  • Area 1: The most easy stage. The boss is Chancey.
  • Area 2: More hardier than the first stage, but, still easy. The boss is Bogmire.
  • Area 3: The most hardest level on the game. The boss is Boolosus.
  • Area 4: The final level. The boss is King Boo.
